The foodie event that brings in chefs and attendees from around the globe features four packed full days of food, drink and education. This year’s event will see the return of the Night Market but with a new Latin twist along with a relocated Sandwich Invitational and our new favorite event, Smoked!. Festival tickets will go on sale at 9:00am Pacific on Friday, May 20. Best of all Feast Portland raised funds to help fight hunger. Last year organizers raised an astonishing $231,000 for its charitable partners.

Here is more information regarding Feast Portland from its press release:

At Bon Appétit Presents Feast Portland, one of America’s great food cities meets one of the country’s premier food and drink festivals. The festival is a culmination of more than 40 events at beautiful venues across Portland, including large-scale main events, once-in-a-lifetime collaboration dinners, expert-led tasting panels, hands-on classes, and raucous industry parties over four intense days of amazing food and drink.

“Our fifth year is here and we are ready to up the festival ante once again,” said festival co-founders Mike Thelin and Carrie Welch. “Our goal is to continue to best ourselves every year. Our fifth anniversary is a no-rerun year – everything is new and fun!”

2016 FESTIVAL EVENTS:
Bon Appétit Presents Feast Portland is launching a brand new series of four Fun-Size events based on the overwhelming popularity of the Aaron Franklin Stumptown Cook-Out event held in 2015. Bigger than a Dinner Series event though smaller and more intimate than the festival’s main events, these mid-size events with varying themes at venues around the city include a reprise of last year’s cook-out with Franklin Barbecue & Family, a party celebrating the art of the ultimate comfort food in its many forms at Eat Your Feelings – The Noodle Edition, hang out with the most incredible lineup of bartenders for a laid back afternoon of drinks and bites at Peace, Love and Cocktails, and a Southern-style picnic to wrap up the weekend at The Go Get You Some Picnic.

The festival’s Friday night main event USA Pears Night Market Presented by Alaska Airlines Visa Signature Card remains the party of all parties, featuring a light-strung village of stalls serving up a crazy slate of street food. This year’s theme: Playful Latin cooking, from Mexico to Madrid. With taco mashups, reimagined grilled Argentine meats, and inspired Spanish bites, the Night Market delivers a night of Latin song and sauce with the energy and excitement you’ve come to expect.
