11th Annual Bend Brewfest

Now in its 11th year, Bend Brewfest will host its largest festival ever. This year’s event offers over 170 distinct craft beers for public tasting from more than 60 breweries.

The 11th annual Bend Brewfest focuses on tasting and enjoying fine craft beers as well as great food. Bend Brewfest runs Thursday-Sunday, August 14-16 at the Les Schwab Amphitheater. Hours for all three days will be Noon to 11pm.

Admission is free and children are welcome until 7pm each day. For beer tasting, you’ll need to make a one-time purchase of a 2014 Brewfest tasting package. Tasting packages are $15 and include a Festival Beer Mug and 5 tasting tokens. Mugs from previous years will not be filled. Cash required for food, mugs and tokens with an ATM on site.

Tasting tokens are required for beer purchase and cost $1 per (sold in packets of five) and good for all three days. One token equals a four ounce taste. There will also be a variety of food carts from outstanding local vendors on site.

Returning once again is the X-Tap that features specialty, very low production beers from a variety of brewers. Be sure to check out the X-Tap schedule daily as this beer list will be continually rotating.
