Presented by the Ambassador Board of New Avenues for Youth, the 6th Annual Brews for New Avenues is a series of events celebrating rare beer and showcasing the social consciousness of the beer community. Through its short five years Brews for New Avenues has raised nearly $300,000 for New Avenues for Youth’s programs aimed at ending youth homelessness.
This year Brews for New Avenues is already off to a great start as the Oregon Brewers Festival presented Brews for New Avenues with a $20,000 check during the opening ceremonies at this year’s festival. Plus at this year’s Rye Beer Fest the festival donated approximately $2600 from a portion of the festival’s proceeds.
The VIP Session is long sold out but General Admission tickets are still available. The General Admission event includes more silent auction items and a live auction featuring the very rare lots and large format bottles. All attendees will also enjoy artisan food, live music from Prince tribute band, Erotic City and craft beer from over 40 different local, national and international breweries. Maletis Beverage is also sponsoring the Pilsner Pavilion at this year’s Brews for New Avenues. Attendees can also purchase mystery bottles from the famous Wall of Beer featuring over 1,000 bottles of craft beer.
General Admission tickets are currently only sale at $15.00 each and include a commemorative mug and beer tokens good for two full pours or four half pours. Advance tickets can be purchased HERE. Don’t delay, as this charitable event will usually sell out!
