Fremont Oktoberfest is Seattle’s fall tradition benefiting and taking place in the heart of the Fremont neighborhood September 21-23 (N. 35th Street between Phinney Ave N. and 1st Ave NW. on Canal). Voted by USA Today and Orbitz.com as one of the top places to toast Oktoberfest, this three-day festival features a Tasting Garden, two stages with live music, Sunday Dogtoberfest activities and an Oktoberfest Village with Kids Area and 5K Run.

Additional tasting tokens are sold for $2.00. A non-tasting admission is also available in advance online or at the door for $15.
Fremont Oktoberfest Tasting Garden: 21+ with valid ID, admission required
Tasting Garden: Fremont Oktoberfest offers over 80 microbrews, German beers, and wine within the Tasting Garden. General Admission includes a commemorative mug and five tasting tokens.
Buxom Beer Garden: The Buxom Beer Garden satisfies guests looking for German beer in buxom form, in 1-liter or ½ liter steins. Located within the Tasting Garden, the Buxom Beer Garden features a covered lounge and seating, and also hosts the Buxom Royalty Contest Friday at 7pm – Fremont’s twist on traditional Oktoberfest pageantry.
Fremont Oktoberfest Main Stage: The Main Stage features live entertainment throughout the weekend with performances from local bands with a Fremont vibe. The line-up also includes the Texas Chainsaw Pumpkin Carving Exhibition held Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm.
Fremont Oktoberfest Village: Free for all ages
Kids’ Area: The Kids’ Area features pumpkin bowling, art and crafts and the acclaimed zucchini car races.
5K: The annual Fremont Oktoberfest 5K – A Brew HA-HA of a Run – occurs Sunday morning at 10am. Runners race from Solstice Plaza to be the first in the Village Beer Garden.
Street Scramble: The annual scavenger-style Street Scramble takes place Sunday morning at 10:30am. Scramblers discover the hidden mysteries throughout Fremont with this family friendly adventure.
Dogtoberfest: Sunday is Dogtoberfest! Man’s best friend can run, scramble and accompany owners into the Village Beer Garden or Tasting Garden. Dogtoberfest activities also include The CityDog Magazine Cover Dog Modeling Contest.
Oktoberfest Village Stage: Featuring live entertainment throughout the weekend, the line-up also includes the wacky and infamous Texas Chainsaw Pumpkin Carving Contest (held Saturday and Sunday at 1:00pm).
Village Beer Garden: The Village Beer Garden allows visitors to the Fremont neighborhood the opportunity to toast to Oktoberfest with a by-the-glass beer garden. No admission required, but must be 21+ with valid ID.
Beneficiary:
The Fremont Chamber of Commerce is the beneficiary of the Fremont Oktoberfest. A portion of the proceeds goes toward funding local schools, art groups, community events and promoting Fremont as the “Center of the Universe.”
