Lip Stinger
Maybe you’ve heard of it, maybe you ain’t. But MacTarnahan’s Brewing Company, now a subsidiary of Pyramid and Magic Hat, has a magnificent new brew out called Lip Stinger. A Belgian farmhouse-styled brew, it is a light bodied (4.8% ABV) , yet spicy brew with a nice little zing of peppercorn (blend of Malaysian and Indian varieties) as well as Mt. Hood and Saaz hops (32 IBU). With 2-Row, Pilsen, and Wheat malts, the Lip Stinger is a perfect addition to your late summer quaffing appetite.
It’s great to see MacTarnahan’s and Pyramid producing some delicious new brews this year. The Summer Grifter IPA, the Lip Stinger, and Pyramid’s Juggernaut Red Ale fill out a respectable line-up of flavorsome new brands at a good price.
Mark Carver, MacTarnahan’s Director of Pontification and Tale Telling (aka main beer rep) informed us that Mac’s Taproom will be having a promotion night for Lip Stinger on Wednesday August 26th from 5-8PM….Samples, special appetizers, prize drawings, and brewers will be available to guests.
