In honor of Pilsner Urquell’s 170th anniversary, Vaclav Berka, Pilsner Urquell’s Brew Master, will be at Henry’s on 12th in Portland on Friday, October 19th to commemorate this landmark date in the history of beer. We’d like for you to join us to meet Vaclav!
You will also have the chance to speak with the Brew Master himself, and find out more about the brand’s place in the evolution of beer and what it is doing in 2012 to give consumers a new taste of one of the world’s most important beers.
This is a very special time for Pilsner Urquell. This week the brand will celebrate the historic date from which Josef Groll brewed the first batch of the world’s original golden beer in 1842. It is also an exciting time for Pilsner Urquell as the beer is now being “express shipped cold” to the United States, ensuring that drinkers in the United States will have the same experience as those drinking the beer in the Czech Republic.
