Funny Commercial

Sometimes I wonder why delicious craft breweries don’t come up with commercials this good

How much more elated would a true beer geek be to find a mixed cellar of vintage barley wines, old ales, etc, and not green bottled swill.  I basically feel the way the lads in this commercial do every time I go to Belmont Station, By the Bottle, Bottleworks, or John’s Market Place….

I concur – I too feel that same excitement when I’m able to get to a shop like Belmont Station. However, as an out-of-stater (I’m actually from British Columbia), I get that sense of excitement each time I cross the Columbia. Love the State, love the beer culture, and love reading about it on blogs such as yours.

Thank you, Ray. Also, be sure to make a pit stop in Vancouver, Washington (America’s Vancouver) to By the Bottle in downtown for some great beers not available in Oregon. Cheers to Canada!

Craft breweries do come up with stuff this good, and probably better. But for over 100 grand to produce and hundreds to millions to place it – hard for most to compete with the big dollars of Heineken. Let’s keep buying craft brews. And should we be happy when our favorite craft breweries get some large brewery funding because they get more marketing dollars? That’s a tough one to answer.
