One of Portland’s most notable sports TV and radio voices from the 1990’s, Colin Cowherd, partners with one of Oregon’s most recognizable breweries with Rogue Ales. In what Rogue describes as a “collision”, Colin Cowherd and Rogue Ales have announced the upcoming debut of Blunt N’ Bitter, the official beverage of Colin Cowherd and The Herd.
Blunt N’ Bitter is a classic English Special Bitter and is dedicated to fellow Rogue’s that dare to speak their mind. This new beer will be introduced on August 28th in Portland, Oregon as part of Colin’s appearance on the Isaac and Big Suke radio show on ESPN Radio – 1080 The Fan, that happens to be Cowherd’s former network as of a month ago. Beginning after Labor Day, Cowherd will be joining Fox Sports after spending over a decade at ESPN.
Colin worked in both TV and Radio in Portland in the 1990s and said, “Portland has given me so much opportunity through the years. I’m thrilled to debut this product that I love in a city that I love.”
“All of us here at Rogue are thrilled to be working with a fellow Rogue and Revolutionary in Colin Cowherd. We both come from small coastal towns in the Pacific Northwest and, most importantly, share a kindred spirit as we both continue to Dare, Risk, and Dream and fight the status quo,” said Rogue President Brett Joyce.
Blunt N’ Bitter will be available at Rogue meeting halls and select retailers. For more information, please visit rogue.com.
