VIDEO: "Victory"
In the Pacific Northwest, especially here in Oregon and more specifically in Portland, beer is not just viewed as some fizzy yellow nonsense. You don’t just order “a beer” and take the drab tipple that’s brought out to you. This video from Jerry Makare, produced by Makare, Meredith Lawrence, and Emily Jensen, and edited by Jensen features Van Havig of Gigantic Brewing giving a brief insight into craft beer culture in the Pacific Northwest. This was a project for the University of Oregon Multi-Media Journalism Program Foundations class (J610) in Fall 2012. Cheers!
