Heater Allen Brewing Helles Lager Launch at Interurban
Interurban will host the release party for Heater Allen Brewing’s new spring seasonal, Helles Lager. From 3:00 to 9:00pm on Wednesday, March 15th, Interurban will tap the latest offering from Heater Allen Brewing.
Helles Lager Description:
The beer pours slightly hazy pale gold. The aroma is classic German hop aroma (subtly piney and resinous) with some bread and hay notes. On the palate, the beer is wheaty, bready, malty, slightly tart and resinous. At the finish the bread/wheat notes dissolve leaving the hops coming to the fore.
Chef Jonny Henry will serve up a few dishes to be paired with the Helles. A few options include:
- Liptauer on rye with radish
- Kartoffelsalat with pickled egg, crispy pig ear & anchovies
- Pan-fried liverwurst with sherry butter & apple/onion jam
Heater Allen Helles Lager will be on tap beginning at 3:00pm and the party will go until 9:00pm. Interurban will also have Heater Allen’s Schwarzbier on tap during the Helles release.
