Recently another radler has hit the Portland market when Migration Brewing teamed up with HOTLIPS Soda to produce the second edition of HOTLIPS PDX Radler. Last year Migration blended its PDX Kölsch with HOTLIPS Lemon Soda. To spice things up this year, the two businesses produced a new version of PDX Radler by using the same PDX Kölsch but blending it with HOTLIPS Blood Orange Soda.

Blending Migration’s bright, crisp PDX Kölsch with HOTLIPS Blood Orange Soda produces an interesting blend that is pleasantly refreshing. The blend that makes up PDX Radler was well executed by not adding too much soda that would end up overwhelming the flavor.

“There’s no pairing quite as perfect as pizza and beer,” said David Yudkin, co-owner of HOTLIPS Pizza + Soda. “We’re always looking for new ways to innovate with our fellow Portland artisans, and Migration Brewing has always been a great partner with great beer.”

“This Radler is pure Portland,” said Eric Banzer-Lausberg, co-owner of Migration Brewing. “We love the idea of joining beer from Northeast Glisan with soda from Southeast Hawthorne into one refreshing, enjoyable brew.”

Sitting at 4.5% ABV and 33 IBUs, PDX Radler is a nice summer quencher to seek out, plus with a tasty pizza slice your day will only get better. PDX Radler is available on tap at all six HOTLIPS Pizza locations.
