Because it's a new brewery I thought it would be fun to have a beer at my party that nobody had ever tried. I liked the IPA. I found it to be refreshing and boldly hoppy. Many of my guests said they loved the beer and only one guest felt the beer could finish a little smoother. After the party I made a point to track down and try Vertigo's cream ale and I was instantly hooked. I hope more local bars (hopefully in Salem) start carrying it. I personally preferred it over the IPA in general although there's something magical about an ice-cold IPA on a very hot summer day. If it ever stops raining and warms up around here I'm sure I'll be inviting Friar Mike back to my house again. Cheers!
