Widmer Brothers Brewing has added PDX Pils to its year-round line up of six-packs. Originally brewed by Corey Blodgett, Lead Innovation Brewer, in 2015, PDX Pils became a popular beer at Widmer Brothers Pub that led to adding this beer to its packaged beer lineup.

“PDX Pils took off after we introduced it at the Pub in late 2015,” states Blodgett in a release. “Our Pub really acts as an incubator for us and some beers, like PDX Pils, have sold better than some of us initially expected. Once we started brewing PDX Pils, we couldn’t stop because our guests kept asking for it. It was pretty clear we had a winner on our hands with this one early on.”

For those attending the Portland Trail Blazers game on Tuesday, March 21st against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Moda Center, Widmer will host a PDX Pils Launch Party at the Widmer Brothers Bar. The party will begin at 6:00pm at the newly revamped bar located on the 100 level concourse inside the Moda Center with free samples to be poured. In attendance will be Rob Widmer, several Widmer Brothers brewers, and select Blazers alumni.
