Hey, the Double-River Doppelweizen is one of the best beers i've had. I don't know how any beer lover would NOT like it.
Just my opinion.

Yes Dave. Alan offers me a little tasting. Maybe because of my bad english... Some of the things you just don't try to understand. Why me?

I've tried to corrupt Alan and another guy in town for a bottle. My friends allowed me 200 US$ to bring back a bottle. If somebody is interested, contact me.

Impressive, sir. The tasting trays can be epic in some places (thinking of Lucky Lab where I remember getting 12 very generous six-ounce pours). If you'd had 176 pints in 7 days, your liver may've given out...

A quick answer to Beer Retard:

I took the full tasting panel (or tasting tray?) in 12 breweries. So 12 x 8 (average from 6 to 13 tastings)= 96
I had pints and glasses at 5 places ± 25
1 or 2 bottles at the hotel every night ± 12
A tasting session ± 20
Some bottles I bought in groceries and rinked in the streets while visiting... ± 6

Beleive me. It was a unique experience. A dirty job, but somebody had to do it. You know, quality check... :o)

176 beers in 7 days? That's some serious drinking. How many of those were tasters, how many were short pours and how many were pints? The quantity-drinker in me wants to know...
