Fri, May 3rd 6:00PM Saraveza hosts Grateful Deaf brewer, Ken Fisher for a Portland Deaf Night Out and special tapping of his Grateful Deaf “Zythos” Black IPA brewed at Fort George Brewery in Astoria, OR.  This is Ken’s nationally acclaimed Black IPA brewed last year at the Jopen Brewery in Haarlem, the Netherlands.  Ken is planning another brewery trip to Europe in August and Fort George is helping him cover the cost of traveling with his interpreter, Aurora Parks-Riggs.  So come on down for a pint of this delightfully dark brew and a chance to meet the legendary gypsy brewer himself! The Grateful Deaf Zythos Black IPA is exactly what the name implies… It’s a Black IPA that has been hopped to the high heavens with heaps of delicious zythos hops that were graciously donated by Hopunion. Though a dark beer it remains crisp and not overly roasty.
