Willy's Wheat Release @ Lompoc Sidebar

Lompoc SidebarJoin us this Friday and Saturday at Sidebar for the release of Willy’s WheatWilly’s Wheat was brewed with strictly Willamette hops.  The result is a light, crisp wheat beer with a slight nutty flavor, a great beer for spring time (3.8% ABV).  We’ll also be pouring Drunken Robin, our  Condor Pale Ale fermented in Bourbon barrels with 35 pounds of sour cherries and cellared for 20 months.  It’s burnt orange in color with strong cherry and oak aroma; Lompoc Sour Draft, our LSD brewed in February 2008 then aged in Maryhill Winery Merlot barrels for two years.  This sour ale has an oak aroma and a lot of cherry and berry flavors; Centennial IPA, a classic Northwest IPA brewed with Crystal malts for a rich golden color.  Centennial hops provide a floral nose and sharp bitter finish; Kick Axe Dry Hopped Pale Ale, our tribute to the Timber’s Army.  This crisp, easy drinking pale ale was dry-hopped in the fermenter with Cascades giving off a huge hop aroma; and Oyster LSD, our  LSD that sat on one pound of smoked Hama Hamas oysters from Washington for five days.  Enjoy a smoky flavor with a sweet brininess from the oysters.

Sidebar is open Friday 4-10 pm and Saturday, 2-10 pm and is located at 3901 N Williams, just past Pix Patisserie.  Look for outdoor seating there soon!
