Double Mountain's Good Idea

Double Mountain's Bonne Idee

As you can probably tell from looking at the Brewpublic events calendar, there’s a LOT going on tonight. Plus, in Portland, you can expect the city to be pumped for the Trailblazers to win. If not, season over. Whether or not you consider yourself part of the Rip City Uprise, you can still raise up a glass of Double Mountain‘s latest Bonne Idee (which translates to “Good Idea”) at Saraveza.  Here is the first opportunity for Rip Citizens to quaff DM’s entry for Saturday’s Portland Cheers to Belgian Beers event. In addition to this winning brew, you can also try a special blended cherry rendition as well.

DM co-founder Charlie Devereux, says “We’ll be previewing this beautiful new Saison in advance of Portland’s Cheers to Belgian Beers festival. Chef Spence (Spence Lack, lead pasty chef at Saraveza) will be sharing some handmade boudin blanc from the kitchen. Get there early to sample an extra-special treat: a 30L keg of “Bonne Idee Avec Kriek”, which is the regular Bonne Idee blended 85/15 with Devil’s Kriek 2010, from the maturation tank.”

Prost!

Saraveza is located at 1004 N. Killingsworth in Portland, Oregon. This event  will take place April 29, 2010 6-9pm. Beer supplies are limited, so get there on time, dude!

If you happen to be near The Dalles, Oregon on this same evening, Double Mountain will be kicking off a great new craft beer pub called Clocktower Ales with several DM treats and prizes. The Clocktower Ales is located 311 Union Street, The Dalles Oregon. This event will last from 6-8pm.
