Wildwood Announces Lucky Lab Beer Dinner

Renowned sous chef Paul Kasten of Wildwood Restaurant and Bar informs us that the Northwest Portland establishment will host a special dinner pairing the beers of Lucky Labrador on June 17, 2011.

Kasten says “We have some great beers lined up and I will try to do them justice with the meal. Spring will be in full swing by that time, so we will have quite an array of beautiful local produce to choose from.” Just a stone’s throw from Lucky Lab’s NW Quimby beer hall, Kastens adds “(W)e could likely carry the beer over to our banquet room.  It certainly doesn’t get much more local than that.” So, the decision for the pairing opportunity was a no-brainer, and promises to be a wonderful experience. “We have enjoyed many a sunny day beer on the great patio at the Lab and gotten to know the team there over the years, so we are really excited to be hosting them for what is sure to be a fun event,” Kasten says.

A six course dinner will be paired with select beers from the Lucky Labrador Beer Hall on June 17^th at 7:00pm at Wildwood Restaurant & Bar.  The price will be fifty dollars per person, which includes beer, food, and gratuity.   Here’s a look at what patrons can expect:
