Uptown Market Brings Great Beer to Portland's Westside

Uptown Market

There seems to be no end to number of craft beer hot spots that our fair city can sustain. The latest,  Uptown Market, located on Scholls Ferry (6620 SW Scholls Ferry Road, Beaverton, OR), is open for business and “strives to meet the needs of Portland’s discerning beer crowd.” The store carries nearly 500 varieties – putting an emphasis on Northwest regional beers. Further, Uptown looks to offer many hard to find national and  global brews not often seen in Portland. In addition retailing, Uptown will offer an extensive home brew supply section, brewing classes, kegerator sales/rentals/installation and six ever-flowing taps for sampling and growlers. There are currently six local breweries onsite, with kegs on tap, including Natian, Coalition, Cascade Lakes Brewery, The Commons Brewery, Portland U-Brew, and Amnesia. The business will be providing tastings and pouring growlers. There will also have two wine distributors onsite to provide tastings.
