BARREL, a barrel-matured Craft Beer experience @ Odd Fellows Hall

BARREL, a barrel-matured Craft Beer experience, comes to beautiful downtown Corvallis

Corvallis Craft Beer Association hosts first annual BARREL, a barrel-matured Craft Beer experience, on Friday, September 14th from 6:30-10PM at the Odd Fellows Hall downtown as part Corvallis Beer Week 2012.  With Corvallis’ craft beer and event scene continuing to blossom, BARREL will bring another exciting event to an already stellar annual beer event lineup of Bloktoberfest, Bite of Benton, Corvallis Beer Week, Craft Beer Picnic and Septembeerfest.

Barrels from Block 15's cellar

The idea for BARREL came about over pints and lively discussion between the Co-Founders of Corvallis Craft Beer Association, Drew Salmi, Chris Althouse, and Nathan Langner.  After gauging interest and advice from brewers who practice the Art of Barrel Aging we decided that Corvallis craft beer fans were ready for this type of event in their own town.

Breweries with beers being served at BARREL include 2 Towns Ciderhouse, Block 15 Brewing, Breakside Brewery, Cascade Brewing, The Commons Brewery, Flat Tail Brewing, Lickspigot, Logsdon Farmhouse Ales, Ninkasi Brewing, Oakshire Brewing, Stone Brewing, and Upright Brewery.

Tickets are $25 and include a commemorative ticket, poster, Belgian tulip tasting glass and tasting booklet.  Ticket also includes a 6oz. palette cleansing beer upon entry, and 4 Tasting Tokens.  Each token is good for a single 4oz. pour with additional tokens available for $2/ea..  A stellar menu will be available for purchase and hand-prepared on site by Les Caves Bier & Kitchen

For tickets or more information please visit us on the web at www.CorvallisBeerWeek.org.  If you have any questions please contact Chris Althouse at Chris@CorvallisCraftBeer.com.

Cheers!
