Lompoc Pubs To Feature Array of Vintage Beers

New Old Lompoc brewer Zach Beckwith has just informed us that this weekend, each of the brewery’s pubs will be featuring some exclusive vintage beers. Beckwith says “To bridge the gap between our summer and fall seasonals, Lompoc Brewing released a different vintage beer to each of our pubs this weekend.”

Here’s a look at what folks can expect to find over Labor Day weekend:

Fifth Quadrant: 2009 Dagda Pan Gaelic Red Ale

New Old Lompoc: Barrel Aged Boadicea: a blend of our Boadicea Strong Ale and 2009 Scottish ale that spent 18 months in a bourbon barrel

Oaks Bottom Public House: 2009 Bourbon Barrel Aged Dagda

Hedge House: 2009 Arctic Blast Winter Warmer

Also don’t forget Sidebar is open Friday 4-10PM and Saturday 2-10PM. Check Lompoc’s Facebook page for the current lineup.

Good lord! ALL of those sound like I could spend some serious time there trying them all. The Barrel Aged Boadicea sounds particularly interesting and I wonder if it ends up anything like a cask beer.

The 09 Article Blast Winter Warmer I’ve heard about a few months back from a friend who tried it last year I believe…said it was something pretty special if I remember correctly.
