2012 was one hell of a year. The craft beer industry saw more growth than ever before, and by the looks of things there’s really no slowing down anytime soon. Though the future remains to be seen, one thing is for certain – there are a hell of a lot of awesome new breweries that Oregonians have to be thankful for. Roscoe’s 3rd Annual New Breweries of Oregon Summit is evidence of this onslaught of awesomeness. This highly anticipated event that will take place on Friday January 25, 2013 will celebrate the great new breweries that have opened in in the past year in our fine state.
Some of the breweries that will be featured include: The debut beer from Worthy Brewing, multiple new beers from Crux Fermentation Project , Gigantic Brewing, Solera Brewery, Falling Sky Brewing, a special keg from pFriem Family Brewing, Base Camp Brewing, the first two Santiam Brewing kegs to be poured in Portland, and more.
Roscoe’s publican Jeremy Lewis tells us that many of the breweries (including Crux, Worthy, Santiam, and Solera) will have representatives in attendance for this summit. One particular highlight will be a previously unreleased keg of Soul Sour Apricot from Solera on tap for the event.
Roscoes’ 3rd Annual New Breweries of Oregon Summit begins at 5pm on Friday January 25, 2013 and runs until close and while the beer lasts. Roscoe’s is located at 8105 SE Stark Street in sunny Portland, Oregon. Follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Roscoespdx
