One of Portland’s best craft beer bars celebrates hops with their annual IPA Summit.
Roscoe’s 4th Annual IPA Summit is sure to be a hit. I mean, who doesn’t love hoppy beer. IPA’s are the most consumed craft beer style according to the Brewers Association, and it’s easy to see why. The sticky, resinous cones grow like crazy in these parts. In fact the Yakima Valley of Washington and the Willamette Valley of Oregon are accountable for the majority of the hops grown in our continent. Join Jeremy and Quyen over at Roscoe’s (8105 SE Stark Street in Portland, OR) and check out the goodness for yourself, kicking off on Friday March 29, 2013. Here’s the lowdown from the Rosc-Bros:
Get ready Hop-Heads! Roscoe’s 4th Annual IPA Summit is coming up on Friday March 29th beginning at 2PM. We will be featuring 15 awesome specialty and limited release IPAs on tap for the event.
Some of the breweries (and beers) featured will include: Double Mountain (Molten Lava), Anchorage Brewing (2012 Galaxy White IPA), Boneyard (Notorious IIIPA), Fort George (Roses on Roses), Amnesia (Kill Switch IPA, brewed on their new brew system), Upright (Supercool IPA), Russian River (Pliny the Elder and Blind Pig), Laurelwood (new recipe: Boss IPA), Worthy (Imperial IPA), Mikkeller, 10 Barrel (Wheat IPA), and lots more.
We will have lots of great IPAs on tap all weekend! Taster trays will be available, and there will be some brewers in attendance to answer questions about the beer. We hope to see you there.
