Press Release:

On Thursday, October 15, Beers Made By Walking and Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust are serving up a series of place-based beers and cider that are inspired by trails found along the Greenway Corridor. The tapping takes place at Naked City Brewing in Seattle on October 15, from 6-9pm. Proceeds from the beer are donated to Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust.

The featured beers come directly from a collaboration with the Greenway Trust, which sent experts to lead a series of public hikes with brewers. Each brewer was challenged to make beer inspired by the plants from the trail. The beers/cider you will taste on October 15 include ingredients such as cherries, salal, cedar boughs, blackberries, wild chamomile, devil’s club, and much more.

Here is a list of beers from each of our 10 participating breweries. Additional information about the event is available here.
