Celebrate the Holiday Ale Festival in Portland with Stone Brewing Co.

ESCONDIDO, CA (Nov. 20, 2014) – Stone Brewing Co. will celebrate Portland, Oregon’s Holiday Ale Festival from December 3 to 7 with events throughout the city featuring special-release and one-off beers, as well as appearances by Liberty Station Brewing Manager Kris Ketcham and Craft Beer Ambassador “Dr.” Bill Sysak.

Wednesday, December 3 to Sunday, December 7
Holiday Ale Festival beginning at 11 a.m.

To celebrate the holiday season, more than 50 ales will be featured during this five-day beer festival, and Stone will be pouring a limited, one-off black barley wine called New Desecrator from its brewery at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station. General admission tickets are $35 and include a festival mug, 14 beer tickets and expedited entry for all five days. VIP tickets are $80 for the same offerings, plus 30 beer tickets and access to VIP beer lines and specialty beers. Additional beer tickets will be sold at the event for $1 each. Meet Team Stone with Kris Ketcham and “Dr.” Bill Sysak beginning at 5 p.m.

Join Kris Ketcham and “Dr.” Bill Sysak for an evening filled with limited, special-release Stone beers. Meet Kris Ketcham and “Dr.” Bill Sysak at the Holiday Ale Festival as they pour delicious barrel-aged rarities from Stone’s Quingenti Millilitreprogram, including Spice Oddity (Stone 12.12.12 Vertical Epic Ale aged in Red Wine Barrels), Fyodor’s Classic (2013 Stone Imperial Russian Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels) and 2011 Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels. Finish off the Holiday Ale Festival celebrations with a Sunday beer brunch. Guests will have the opportunity to rub elbows with “Dr.” Bill Sysak and Kris Ketcham while enjoying a European-style brunch menu and an impressive lineup of vintage specialty beers.
