Corvallis Craft Beer Picnic

Press Release:

Brewers from the Corvallis and Albany area will gather on Saturday, July 26th from 12-9pm for a community picnic hosted by Cornelius Orchard & Farm and organized by Corvallis Craft Beer Association. Picnic festivities include beverages from Corvallis area breweries, local food vendors, live music, lawn games, sunshine & great company!  It’s a fun way to celebrate local breweries’ commitment to their communities.

10 Corvallis & Albany area breweries will be featured on tap including 2 Towns Ciderhouse, Block 15, Calapooia Brewing, Deluxe Brewing, Flat Tail Brewing, Mazama Brewing, McMenamins on Monroe, Nectar Creek Meadery, Oregon Trail Brewery, and Sky High Brewing.  Local & friendly food carts will be on hand from Les Caves Bier & Kitchen, Bombs Away Cafe, Ploughman’s Lunch & Kalamata Bistro.

Entertainment will include live music from Dram & Go at 1pm and Bon Ton Roulet at 5:30pm, a “Dunk-a-Brewer” dunk tank fundraiser, a Hole-in-1 Disc Golf competition, a children’s activity area, and other lawn games. Families are welcome all day and lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.

The picnic will take place under the shade of the oaks at the scenic Cornelius Orchard & Farm, located at 3375 SW 53rd Street in Corvallis.  Alternative transportation is encouraged via ample bike parking and a free shuttle from 1-9pm that includes stops at Block 15, Red Fox Cafe and the Picnic.  Lots of vehicle parking is available as well but we’ll dish out extra high-fives for carpooling.

Admission is $6 and those under 12 get in free with an adult paid admission.  This is a cash only event.  For more information please visit www.CorvallisCraftBeer.com.
