Two Small Pacific Northwest Companies Create Natural Partnership for Craft Beer

Spokane, WA… No-Li announces the launch of their newest year-round beer, Mosh Pit Tart Cherry Ale, set to release in 4-packs in early December. The beer is made utilizing cranberry and cherry purees from local Pacific Northwest company, Oregon Fruit Products.

The two organizations came together in September to brew No-Li’s first-ever pumpkin beer, “Krumpkin,” an Imperial Cranberry Pumpkin Ale, a single-batch, draft only beer that sold out in just two weeks. No-Li and Oregon Fruit Products (www.oregonfruit.com) decided to form a partnership and move forward in the creation of No-Li’s first fruit beer as a year-round offering.

“The product itself is really what sells me on it. Very consistent, high-quality fruit products that are incredibly versatile and easy to use in a brewery. We’re two small businesses in the Pacific Northwest with very similar goals – striving to produce the highest-quality products, using regionally sourced ingredients. It validates the excellence of the ingredients available to us in the Pacific Northwest, and keeps it local,” says co-owner and brewmaster Mark Irvin.

Oregon Fruit Products, based in the Willamette Valley of western Oregon, selects and processes the finest fruits available. Their aseptic fruit purees are ideal for use in the brewing process.  All seeds, pits, and skins are removed to create a sterile, ready-to-use product that brewers, from small to large-scale operations, can rely on for consistent flavor and quality.

“We are excited for this opportunity to team up with our friends at No-Li in Spokane to create a new, innovative beer which offers consumers a taste combination they’ve never had before,” comments Oregon Fruit Products President & CEO Chris Sarles. “Our purees are 100% fruit with no preservatives, colors, or flavors added. We’re proud to offer brewers the best of the Pacific Northwest, a heritage that goes back to 1935.”

About the beer:

Mosh Pit is brewed with a base of the choicest Northwest two-row pale malt. The beer is fermented with loads of cherry and cranberry purees from Oregon Fruit Products. This hand-crafted fruit beer contains no flavorings, artificial colors or preservatives; only the highest quality fruit, malt and hops sourced from the Pacific Northwest. This tart fruit beer is the perfect mosh pit of sweet and tart, keeping your taste buds coming back for more.

Mosh Pit will be available year round in 12-oz bottle 4-packs, in all current No-Li markets throughout the U.S. and Canada.
