10th Annual Sasquatch BrewAm Golf Tournament
The 10th Annual Sasquatch BrewAm Golf Tournament returns to McMenamins Edgefield on Friday, July 25th. The BrewAm is your chance to rub shoulders with your favorite brewers and enjoy a great day of fun, beer, and golf on grounds of the beautiful McMenamins Edgefield.
If you have never played in the Sasquatch BrewAm Golf Tourney you’re missing out. This charity golf outing allows you to get paired up with one of your favorite brewers and then go out and play this par 3 course. Don’t have clubs, not a problem. All you need is a pitching wedge and putter. And if you can’t scrounge up these two clubs, you can rent them at the clubhouse. And once the round of golf is completed around noon you’re treated to a nice lunch with more beer and raffle prizes.
And, while you’re having fun on the course, know that all proceeds from the BrewAm go to support the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation brewing scholarship program, which sends brewers from the Pacific Northwest to the Siebel Institute and the American Brewers Guild to further their knowledge and the craft.
Sign-up is really easy. Just follow this Online Registration link: www.glenfalconerfoundation.org/brew_am.html. The cost is $80 General Public and $60 Professional Brewers. Back by popular demand, we were able to arrange for a room block at the Edgefield on the Thursday night prior to the BrewAm. Just call 503-669-8610 and ask for the “Sasquatch BrewAm” room block to reserve your room now. Note that the room block is only available until July 1st.
