Green Dragon Presents Chili Con Chili
Have you made any plans to celebrate Cinco de Mayo this weekend? If not, Green Dragon has you covered to help prepare yourself with their Chili Con Chili event on Sunday, May 4th.
Chili Con Chili will take place from Noon – 4:00pm at Green Dragon. There will be several varieties of chilis donated by local breweries as well as several spicy/chili beers. You can purchase samples of all the chilis and vote for your favorite.
The best part is that all proceeds from the chili sales will go towards Camp Ukandu, a local non-profit for children living with cancer.The beers with some kick include:
- Alaskan Jalepeno IPA
- Ballast Point Habenero Sculpin IPA
- Burnside Brewing Sweet Heat
- Rogue Chipotle Ale
- Breakside Aztec
This list is just a primer with more heat intense beers to come!
What better way to prepare yourself for the following day’s fun filled activities than to line yourself with some spicy food and beer. The famous Oompah Band will be playing on the patio too. So come out and support a good cause and have some delicious beers and chilis.
