The BeerMongers' Christmas Week Events
With Christmas just a few days away, The BeerMongers will be hosting a few noteworthy events to get you through this festive time of year. Since their opening over 5 years ago, The BeerMongers never misses a day to sell the latest in craft beer offerings to the craft beer converts of Portland. Yes, Sean Campbell and his crew opens the doors to The Mongers 365 days a year.
This week the folks at The BeerMongers will bring three solid events that are sure not to be missed. Today they will host Paul Arney from Bend’s Ale Apothecary with a tasting and vintage bottle sale that begins at 5:00pm. Then tomorrow, Tuesday, December 23rd is The BeerMongers annual Christmas Eve-Eve Barrel Aged Beer event. This all day event changes all of their taps as they also bring out the jockey box to offer their faithful some of the best barrel aged beers available here in Portland. Then on Christmas Day just know that The BeerMongers will be open to serve you some carry out beer or will welcome you in for a pint or two on this day.

Ale Apothecary Tasting and Vintage Bottle Sale
Monday, December 22nd – 5:00pm
Join the BeerMongers and the legend behind Ale Apothecary, Paul Arney, for a special evening. Paul will host a complimentary tasting of some Ale Apothecary highly sought after beers.
The BeerMongers will have fresh bottles of El Cuatro, Sahati, La Tache and Sahalie for sale. In addition they are raiding the cellar for several vintage bottles to sell as great Holiday gifts for the beer lover who has almost everything, well except for these gems!
Christmas Eve-Eve Barrel-Aged Spectacular
Tuesday, December 23rd – 11:00am
Hopefully all of your shopping is now behind you. To reward yourself for your efforts The BeerMongers have one special day for you as they exorcize the beer cellar and unearth all of our favorite reserve barrel-aged beers that they’ve managed to hold on to from 2014!
It’s arguably their favorite event of the year, where the jockey box comes out and they have 10 taps of the most delicious and varied barrel-aged libations from around the world. This includes Stout, ciders, Belgians and more as this is surely not one to be missed.
The Mongers will also be pulling out some special reserve bottles for those last-minute gifts.

Taps will be flowing promptly at 11:00am. Then there will be a special guest beertender from 4:00 to 6:00pm.

The folks at The BeerMongers never take a day off. This 5 year old bottleshop and taproom is open 365 days a year. So once the family begins to get on your nerves head on out to The Mongers to help celebrate this holiday.
They will even have a couple special seasonal beers to tap for the special day!
