Holiday Ale Fest in Full Swing

Portland Beer's Matt Wiater makes his way to the front of the line at HAF

Brewpublic's Margaret at Holiday Ale FestIf you missed out on the first two days of Portland’s Holiday Ale Fest, you’re in luck because there’s still a lot of fest left to enjoy. The event runs through Sunday and promises more beer for the beer geeks than ever before. With five bars under heated tents that have expanded throughout Pioneer Courthouse Square, 2010’s fest hosts nearly 50 off-the-wall beers. Of these, about 16 are specialty tapping that will be made available throughout the weekend. Public transportation is a recommended means of transportation, since it is difficult to leave the fest the same as when you entered. Catch up with all your beery friends, pace yourself, and have fun. Holiday Ale Fest (HAF) is a truly amazing international beer event executed by a spectacular team of beer enthusiasts. Folks from all over the planet travel far and wide to attend while those of us who live in town are fortunate to be so close. Here’s some pictures from this year’s HAF thus far:
