2nd Annual SNACKDOWN! Returns To Benefit p:ear

Get ready for an entertaining afternoon of food and beer pairings as Gigantic Brewing presents the 2nd annual SNACKDOWN! at The Evergreen located just above Loyal Legion. Taking place on Sunday, June 18th from Noon until 4:00pm, SNACKDOWN! will pair up ten local breweries with ten local chefs for a no holds bar taste challenge.

And if the pairings are not enough expect brewers, chefs and attendees to adorn wrestling attire to bring out the true smackdown aspect of SNACKDOWN!. Well not too sure if that is a selling point but we have heard from a few people that they enjoyed this part of the event last year. Regardless guests choose their favorite pairing and the winners will be awarded the SNACKDOWN! Belt while DJ Rev Shines provides the tunes.

Advance tickets are currently on-sale for $49.00 each ($52.89 after fees) and can be purchased by clicking here. Ticket includes all ten small plates and ten 5oz beer pours along with a collectible glass. All proceeds after expenses go to p:ear, an organization that builds positive relationships with homeless and transitional youth through education, art and recreation to affirm personal worth and create more meaningful and healthier lives. Each year p:ear programs serve almost 900 homeless and transitional young people ages 15 to 24.
