With Interstate 84 finally reopening as the Eagle Creek fire continues to burn, the businesses in the Columbia Gorge are open and appreciate any additional business. One upcoming weekend to consider is a trip out for the rescheduled 2017 Hood River Hops Fest on Saturday, October 7th. This year’s fest will feature 50 breweries pouring its Fresh Hop beers.
Hood River Hops Fest will take place from Noon-8:00pm in downtown Hood River at the Columbia Lot on the corner of 5th and Columbia. The fest is family friendly until 5:00pm. Admission is $10 for those of drinking age and free for those under 21 years of age. Entry into the Beer Garden is $15.00 during the pre-sale and $20 at the gate and includes a commemorative glass mug and five beer tasting tokens.
