With its roots dating back to 1978, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse has been known for its elevated food that pairs nicely with its award winning beer. This pairing comes to light at BJ’s as the restaurant and brewery chain is set to kick off its 2025 Beer Dinner Series on Monday, March 3, 2025 at its 200+ locations across 31 states.
The Hazy IPA Beer Dinner will feature the latest beer release from BJ’s, Zany Zitrus Hazy IPA and will be held here in Oregon in Hillsboro and Eugene beginning at 6:30pm. This Hazy IPA will be served alongside six other popular hazy beers! This dinner is bringing five incredible courses, each perfectly paired with a bold, hop-forward IPA, including BJ’s very own Zany Zitrus Hazy IPA, for just $45!
Zany Zitrus Hazy IPA made its debut at BJ’s last week as the chain’s latest seasonal beer. This bold, New England-style Hazy IPA made its debut on taps and in cans across BJ’s locations nationwide. A vibrant addition to their seasonal lineup, Zany Zitrus IPA highlights BJ’s ongoing commitment to innovation and reinforces its leadership in the craft beer scene.
Zany Zitrus IPA features tropical fruit aromas like orange, grapefruit, mango, and papaya, alongside a smooth, full-bodied flavor that balances bright citrus and tropical fruit notes with a mild malt sweetness and just the right amount of hop bitterness. Created by Aaron Stueck, BJ’s Head Brewer, the IPA was crafted using a blend of Bravo, Cascade, Cashmere, and Citra hops. This beer delivers a “friendly IPA” experience—packed with flavor but less intense than traditional American IPAs. It takes the best aspects of a West Coast IPA—intense hop aroma and fruity flavors—but with a smoother finish and less bitterness, making it more approachable for a wider audience that arrives at 7.4% ABV and 50 IBUs.
