Double Mountain Brewery CBC Wrap Party at Saraveza

Double Mountain Brewery Delivery Truck

Double Mountain Brewery will join forces with Saraveza Bottle Shop & Pasty Tavern to host it’s 2015 Craft Brewers Conference Wrap Party. Just as the CBC wraps up its 4 day run here in Portland on Friday, April 17th, Double Mountain will be taking over the taps at Saraveza along with driving out its 1950 Chevy Panel Van from Hood River to dispense even more of its frothy delights. The fun begins at 5:00pm!

All Double Mountain Brewery Beers All Night Long, including some very limited cellar offerings poured from Double Mountain owner and head brewer, Matt Swihart’s “Beer Service” Panel Van, for a total of 14 delicious Double Mountain brews.

After surfing the web for months, Matt Swihart found a 1950 one ton Chevy panel van in Las Vegas. Branded “Mountain Pool and Lawn Service” with a Vegas phone number, Matt took a little paint to the van. He matched the old ‘50s logo and drilled holes on the side for beer taps and voila, the “Double Mountain Pool of Beer Service” was born!  In 2014, Double Mountain replaced the stock motor and running gear with the remnants of a ‘94 chevy suburban and now it rolls quite nicely and comfortable at highway speeds.  That said, the “Double Mountain Pool of Beer Service” is able to visit Portland and make its Saraveza debut.

The sidewalk outside of Saraveza will be taken over to play some cornhole, give away tons of swag and drink to the mountains!

Join Matt, the Double Mountain crew and their cool ride as we celebrate the end of what is shaping up to be one of the most important weeks in Oregon Craft Beer History!

Double Mountain Brewery and Taproom was established in 2007 in the heart of downtown Hood River, OR. Founders Matt Swihart and Charlie Devereux opened the brewery with a clear mission: make great beer for craft beer fans. Double Mountain Brewery’s unique location lends to not only using pure and clean glacial water for their beers, but they also take advantage of regionally grown hops. Double Mountain Brewery and Taproom’s unfiltered and long-aged beers deliver maximum flavor and character. They can be found on tap and in bottles throughout the Pacific Northwest and Southern California. Saraveza
