This week Green Dragon hosts three consecutive evenings of some enticing beer events. Things kick off tonight, Tuesday, September 20 when Green Dragon hosts Victory Brewing Night. Then tomorrow the Green Dragon Brew Crew will release its latest beer, Scarlett PNW Red Ale. The week of event culminates on Thursday when it hosts Fresh Harvest Festival. Full details on all three events are listed below.
Victory Brewing Night
Tuesday, September 20 – 5:00 to 9:00pm
Join Victory Brewing at the Green Dragon Tuesday for an exclusive tapping of Braumeister Pils.
Braumeister Pils – Like great jazz improvisation, there are endless opportunities when crafting malt, water, hops and yeast into beer. Varying only the variety of hops employed each time we brew a Braumeister Pils, we get to enjoy this pleasure of possibilities. Cold conditioned for maximum refinement, it is always offered unfiltered. 5.1% ABV
Sour Monkey – Sour Monkey puts a tastefully tart twist on our Golden Monkey’s sweet, fruity essence. A sharp, citrus-laden tang makes this brew a Monkey all its own! 9.5% ABV
Cage Radler – Our spin on a German classic connects lemon freshness with crisp lager. Effervescent notes of lemonade, lemon zest, and a hint of graininess. 3.0% ABV
Selene Saison – Dark as the night sky and fermented with unique yeast, this Saison delivers earthy and spicy undertones to warm your senses all winter long. 7.5% ABV
Blackboard Series #3 Berliner Weisse with Elderflower – Pale in color with a noticeable haze, this Berliner Weisse pours with fluffy white foam. Malt aromas combine with woody, spicy, and vanilla notes. Tart and sour flavors balance well with a floral, mildly sweet finish.
Green Dragon Brew Crew Release
Wednesday, September 21 – 5:00 to 8:00pm
Join the Green Dragon Brew Crew for the release of Scarlett PNW Red Ale. Kegs tapped at 5pm. Hear the story at 6pm.
Scarlett PNW Red Ale – German “Red X”, Vienna and Carafa I malts combine to provide the deep red hue and toasty malt flavor you’ll find in Scarlett, the Brew Crew’s latest example of a Pacific Northwest Red Ale.
Homegrown Columbus and Chinook hops provide resinous, dank, pine character and bitterness. Cascade and Citra dry hop additions round out the beer with soft citrus aromas. Slightly sweet, a touch of warmth and a bounty of NW hop notes, a perfect toast to the first week of Autumn.
ABV 6.2% – IBU 53
