Handmade Bike & Beer Festival Brings Bikes and Beer Together

The popular Portland pastimes of bicycling and beer are once again brought together with the Handmade Bike & Beer Festival. Hosted by the Oregon Bicycle Constructors Association and the Oregon Brewers Guild, the 2016 event will take place on Friday, October 7th from 5:00 to 9:00pm and Saturday, October 8th from 10:00am to 8:00pm. This year’s event moves locations from Hopworks Urban Brewery to The North Warehouse in North Portland.

The breweries include Baerlic Brewing Co., Base Camp Brewing Co., Hopworks Urban Brewery, Pyramid Brewing Co. and Widmer Brothers Brewing all pouring four beers each. A sixth beer sponsor, Falling Sky Brewing from Eugene, will serve two beers. Food will be available for purchase from Urban German and Booda Bowls.
