Inaugural Happy Valley Harvest and Oktoberfest

For this year’s Harvest Fest in in Happy Valley, Valley Growlers has teamed up with the city of Happy Valley to bring an Oktoberfest celebration to this city located Southeast of Portland. On Saturday, October 12th, the inaugural Happy Valley Harvest and Oktoberfest will take place at Happy Valley Park. Sales from this event benefit Clackamas Dogs Foundation and Clackamas County Dog Services.

Happy Valley Harvest Fest & Oktoberfest will kick off at 11:00am when the Mayor taps the ceremonial firkin as Gustav from 94.7 KNRK will me the MC of the event. The day’s events will feature live music, free pumpkins, hayrides, petting zoo, face painting, photo booth, local vendors and more!

When it comes to food, SteamWerkz will be serving up Zenner’s German sausages, brats, hot pumpkin and apple doughnuts. Mack Whiskey Kitchen will be serving up pork sandwiches, Bavarian Pretzels, German tots and bacon wrapped dogs. There will also be other food vendors such as Killer Burger, Chick-fil-A, Chop Chop Chicken, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, and more.

Since it’s an Oktoberfest celebration there will be beer, wine and cider pouring. Here’s a look at what to expect.

There is no entry fee to enjoy the Oktoberfest tent, but you must purchase a reusable Oktoberfest souvenir mug and drink tickets to drink at Oktoberfest. The cost is $15 for a mug, $5 for each 16oz pour drink ticket. To pre-purchase tickets and save $5 click HERE.

There are three lots at Happy Valley Park for you to park at, plus some street parking on Ridgecrest Road. Happy Valley Middle School on King Road has overflow parking available, but you will have to walk the .3-mile boardwalk path between the school and the park. It’s about a 5-minute walk.
