Occidental Brewing Oktoberfest 2018
Oompah Bands, German food and Festbier will take prominence at Oktoberfest 2018 hosted by Occidental Brewing. Once again the Cathedral Park neighborhood’s brewery will set up a big tent in its parking lot for one of Portland’s best family friendly Oktoberfest celebrations.
Coinciding with Munich’s kickoff of Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 22nd, Occidental Brewing will do its best to offer North Portland’s own version of this Bavarian tradition from Noon-9:00pm.
Occidental beer will be flowing across the brewery, its parking lot and the Occidental Wursthaus. There will be live music and delicious food from Urban German Grill at the Wursthaus and in the courtyard. Listen to live bands from the deck while you drink a ½ liter of the brewery’s Festbier.
Admission into Occidental’s Oktoberfest is $10 and includes a ½ liter glass stein and one beer fill! If you have a previous year’s mug feel free to bring this to avoid the entry fee. Additional beer tokens will be available for sale at the event.
