Project Pabst Returns to Portland’s Waterfront July 26 – 27, 2025
|
Last summer Project Pabst returned after a seven-year hiatus to Portland’s Tom McCall Waterfront Park. This year, the festival from Pabst Blue Ribbon makes its return and will take place from Saturday, July 26 through Sunday, July, 27 with a lineup that is intriguing for any generation of music!
It was great to see Project Pabst, that debuted in Portland back in 2014 and went on a four-year run, make the decision to return and invest in downtown Portland, a city that can use a bit of love these days. And for 2025, organizers have pulled together a stacked lineup that is headlined by Iggy Pop on Saturday and Death Cab for Cutie on Sunday. Count us in!
But it’s not just the headliners that are going to bring thousands to the waterfront each day. Joining Iggy Pop, the Godfather of Punk, on Saturday is Devo, The Damned, The Chats, Mannequin Pussy, The Exploding Hearts, Gustaf, Gouge Away and local icons Nasalrod.
Then to close out the fest, it’lll be a day of indie rock with Japanese Breakfast, Built to Spill, Cap’n Jazz, Wednesday, Say She She, Sam Austins and Dustbunny. joining Death Cab for Cutie.
“Project Pabst has always celebrated the spirit of creativity and community, and we’re thrilled to bring together this incredible lineup for 2025,” said festival organizers in a press release. “With a mix of legendary artists and emerging talent, this year’s festival will be one to remember.”
