Rogue Ales and The Unipiper To Tap Pickled Piper Today
Later today Rogue Ales will tap the latest batch of Pickled Piper. This is a collision with Portland’s famous bagpipe player, The Unipiper. Pickled Piper will be tapped beginning at 5:00pm at Rogue Distillery & Public House in Portland’s Pearl District.
Pickled Piper is described as a kettle-soured cucumber Gose. It is then dry hopped with Sorachi Ace hops and infused with a healthy dose of pickling spices and fresh cucumber to create a beer that is quite unique, just like The Unipiper himself.
Then at 6:30pm prepare yourself for a Pickle Eating Contest that will earn contestants the ability to win prizes from both Rogue and The Unipiper. Also look for frickles on the food menu and a new Pickle Your Liver drink option that features a shot of Rogue Whiskey and a pickle-back.
