The Bier Stein Celebrates Oktoberfest On September 19th

2015 The Bier Stein Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany kicks off on Saturday, October 19 and the people of Eugene will not be left out when one the city’s best beer bars, The Bier Stein will be hosting its own Oktoberfest celebration the exact same day kicking off at 11:00am. For this year’s festivities The Bier Stein is expanding the idiom of Oktoberfest. In addition to the classic lagers like those served from giant tanks beneath tents in Munich, The Bier Stein is including the fruits of Oregon hop farmers’ labor, the tasty and limited available wet and fresh hop beers.

The Bier Stein will also be featuring Weihenstephaner mugs that will be available for $3.00 to take home, but if you’re dressed in Oktoberfest garb your mug is free. Pretzels, schnitzel, and bratwurst will be available at a discount. Now check out the current beer list—this is just the beginning, we will run Oktoberfest and fresh-hop beers until they go out of style. The Stein will take over most of its 25 taps with the festive beers and maybe more, roughly eight of each style at a time, and in no particular order:

Beyond the festive beer the folks at The Bier Stein will be providing an Oktoberfest themed photo booth. To make the photos festive there will be Oktoberfest themed accessories to add to the fun photos.
