Threshold Brewing Celebrates Six Years On February 8th
Celebrating six years of brewing, Threshold Brewing will host its 6th Anniversary on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from Noon – 9:00pm. Look for fresh new beer releases, mouthwatering food, tattoos, and a DJ spinning tunes!
In early 2019, Threshold Brewing opened its doors in the Montavilla neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. The brewery is owned and operated by Jarek and Sara Szymanski, a couple with a passion for craft beer and love for their Portland Montavilla neighborhood. Through its short history, the brewery and taproom has grown into an award-winning brewery, featuring modern beers alongside Polish historical styles.
As part of the festivities, Threshold Brewing has brewed up two new collaboration beers, one with Grand Fir Brewing and the other with Migration Brewing. This collaboration with Grand Fir Brewing will also bring its award-winning Chef Doug Adams and his mobile smoker to the brewery on Saturday.
Here’s a rundown on the two collaboration beers that will be tapped on Saturday for Threshold Brewing’s 6th Anniversary as given to us from the brewery.

Couples Therapy West Coast IPA
We were so stoked to have Grand Fir’s Whitney and Doug out for a brew day earlier this month. As the four of us can attest, being married to your business partner can be a whole thing, thank god for 7% abv Couples Therapy! A big hitting West Coast IPA loaded with Krush and Simcoe hops. The couple that brews together stays together. 7% ABV
Migration x Threshold
Hellaversary Helles
Migration and we just happen to share the same anniversary month and this year we’re collectively turning 21! Legal and ready to mingle, this crispy Helles was brewed at Migration, celebrating both of our big milestones. 5.7% ABV
To supplement the normal food menu at Threshold, Grand Fir’s Chef Doug Adams will be rolling his smoker on over for some succulent meat cuts to complement the day’s draft selection! Then Ever True Tattoo is popping up in the brewhouse for a curated ink selection, including custom designs for the event. Sign ups start at noon. And DJ Big Tim Slade aka the one and only Tim Ensign, will be spinning vinyl from 4:00 – 8:00pm. Cheers to six years!!
