One year ago, Von Ebert Brewing opened in the former space that was home to the Portland franchise of Fat Head’s Brewery in Portland’s Pearl District. Then last summer it opened its second location, Von Ebert Brewing – East at the Glendoveer Golf Course. To celebrate this milestone, Von Ebert Brewing will host Hail the Boar – Von Ebert First Anniversary on Wednesday, March 27th at its Pearl District location from 5:00-10:00pm.
The one-year anniversary will feature new beer releases from Von Ebert Head Brewer, Sam Pecoraro. Look for Tirage, a keg conditioned Sabrage Brut IPA, Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee Stout, Eat Me Cake Kettle Sour Ale with black currants & blackberries, Pareidolia Hazy IPA, and a new Port Whiskey Cask Barleywine. In total there will be 26 VEB beers on tap!
Von Ebert will also be hosting its newly revamped Happy Hour all day long. The kitchen, led by new Executive Chef Jackson Wyatt will feature two food specials – Beet and Broccoli Salad and Smoked Quartered Chicken with onion, chickpeas, beans, and garlic.
Then for members of Von Ebert’s Stein Society, the group’s annual party that features a food buffet begins at 6:00pm. And if you’d like to become a Stein Society member, Von Ebert will be offering memberships for $50. The Stein Society membership includes drinking from your own 20oz ceramic mug each visit, beer discounts and an annual party.
