Earlier this year Melvin Brewing signed with General Distributors to bring its beers from its home state of Wyoming to the Portland market. Around this same time the brewery began to can a few of its beers. This past June, Melvin Brewing did a one time drop of its cans to Portland that were sold at McMenamins 23rd Avenue Bottle Shop. Now their lineups of cans are available throughout Portland.

Still on a high from winning a Gold medal at the 2016 Great American Beer Festival for its Fresh Hop Melvin IPA in the Fresh or Wet Hop Ale category, Jeremy Tofte, co-founder of Melvin Brewing will be in Portland for a few launch events. Events will take place at Belmont Station, The BeerMongers, APEX, Bridgetown Beerhouse, and Roscoe’s as part of Killer Beer Summit.
