Now in its third installment, #pdxbeergeeks will present its Mixed Tape Track 3 – Johnny Cash on Friday, September 23rd at McMenamins Mission Theater in Northwest Portland. This series began in 2015 with Mixed Tape Track 1 – David Bowie that was followed up with Mixed Tape Track 2 – Beastie Boys. With each of the Mix Tape Series, #pdxbeergeeks pick one of their favorite bands and have a brewery brew a beer inspired by the featured musician or band.
Mixed Tape Track 3 – Johnny Cash will undoubtedly feature The Man In Black in both music and in beer. Taking the stage at Mission Theater will be the Johnny Cash inspired band, Get Rhythm. The band will take the stage at 7:00pm after the doors open one hour earlier.
When it comes to the Johnny Cash inspired beers look for beers and one cider from many of the area’s top breweries. Here is a rundown on the taplist.
