10 Barrel Brewing To Open Seven New Mini-Pubs In Oregon

What began as a tongue in cheek response to not being part of this year’s Oregon Brewers Festival due to their large corporate ownership, 10 Barrel Brewing decided to offer a pub within its own Pub in Portland’s Pearl District. The brewery’s OBF campaign of #BANNEDSOWEPARTY took OBF patrons from the OBF grounds via a stretch limo to its Pearl District location for complementary beer and pizza. 10 Barrel then returned these festival goers to OBF with a free beer token to spend back at the festival.

It has now been announced that 10 Barrel will be opening up seven more of these Mini-Pubs across all of Oregon. The rollout began to take place over the past few weeks and will continue to do so over the next few weeks.

“We’re still killing it at our pubs in Bend, Portland and Boise, but you may have heard we recently came into some more resources, so we wanted to take it up a notch,” said Garrett Wales, 10 Barrel co-founder and VP of pub operations. “It’s really all about expansion. Pubs, pubs and more pubs, and we feel like seven more is a good start.”

All seven of these new Mini-Pubs will feature 10 Barrel’s signature style of natural wood with a few minor industrial touches along with open air seating. The new pubs also feature 100 percent natural lighting, limiting their environmental impact.

“Honestly, these pubs have been in the works for a long time,” added 10 Barrel co-founder Jeremy Cox. “We started talking about these way back in May or June, and we’re glad they finally came together.”

Be on the lookout for these pubs throughout all of Oregon over the coming weeks and months.
