BREWMASTER Makes Its Portland Premiere at Living Room Theaters

This evening the Portland premiere of the film BREWMASTER will take place at the Living Room Theater. The 7:00pm screenings will be shown tonight, Tuesday, November 13th and Thursday, November 15th.

BREWMASTER is a new film directed and written by Douglas Tirola and produced by Susan Bedusa, Douglas Tirola, and Danielle Rosen from 4th Row Films. The story follows Brian Reed, Trade Brewer for Tenth and Blake Beer Company of MillerCoors on his quest to become a Master Cicerone and Drew Kostic, Federal Judicial Law Clerk of U.S. Court of International Trade chasing his dream of becoming a professional brewer.

Reed is a beer educator for Miller Coors and Kostic is a young ambitious New York lawyer who struggles to chase his American dream of becoming a brewmaster. In addition to these two, other well-known beer industry personalities tell their story of beer. This includes Garrett Oliver, Jim Koch, Vaclav Berka, Ray Daniels, Charles Papazian and Randy Mosher.

BREWMASTER is a 1 hour 35 minute film that creates a cinematic portrait of beer, those who love it, those who make it and those who are hustling to make their mark.

Living Room Theater will present two special screenings of BREWMASTER, a documentary about craft beer. The first is November 13th at 7pm with Samuel Pecoraro, a Certified Cicerone (master beer expert) at Von Ebert Brewing in attendance for a Q&A. The second on November 15th at 7pm will feature a Q&A with Mary Rose Walker, one of only three Advanced Cicerones in Oregon and 100 in the world. She is currently with Maletis Beverage.
