Rose City Rollers Announce BridgePort Brewing As Its Official Craft Beer

PORTLAND, Ore. – February 7, 2017 – Get ready to bout! BridgePort Brewing Company, Oregon’s original craft brewery, is excited to announce their newest partnership with Portland’s roller derby league and two-time world reigning champions, the Rose City Rollers.

“We’re a big proponent of local sport teams and we love what the Rose City Rollers are doing – they’ve created the world’s largest derby league right here in our own backyard,” stated Jeff Edgerton, BridgePort Brewmaster. “Back when we launched BridgePort Cream Ale, which sports roller skates on the packaging, we were excited about the idea of a partnership. Glad that we were able to come together to make it happen.”

As the official craft beer sponsor of the Rose City Rollers, the partnership will include BridgePort brands, such as Cream Ale, featured throughout the arena and available during all bouts. BridgePort will donate to Rose City Rollers fundraisers and provide support for fun events throughout the season to help promote this great sport within the Portland community.

“The Rose City Rollers are proud to partner with Bridgeport Brewing, a great local brand. We believe our audience will happily show their support for the partnership by drinking their tasty brews while taking part in feisty action on the track,” Kim Stegeman aka Rocket Mean, Executive Director, Rose City Rollers.

The Rose City Rollers 2017 season recently kicked-off and tickets are available now. Please visit http://www.rosecityrollers.com for more information on the team, bout schedule and ticket information.
