Baerlic Brewing to Release Fresh Hop Punk Rock Time IPA + Gray Scale Coffee Vienna Lager

On Tuesday, September 3rd, Baerlic Brewing will release two new beers in cans and on draft just in time for fresh hop season and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The BeerMongers. Beginning at 4:00pm, Baerlic Brewing will release both Fresh Hop Punk Rock Time IPA and Gray Scale Coffee Vienna Lager.

Fresh Hop Punk Rock Time IPA is the fresh hop version of the brewery’s Punk Rock Time IPA. This beer that was cold conditioned on freshly harvested Strata hops that were supplied by Indie Hops. With 6 pounds of Strata per barrel, this beer is said to be packed full of watermelon and overripe tropical fruit and just the right amount of that fresh hop ‘green’ note layered over a soft and crisp malt body. Fresh Hop Punk Rock Time IPA sits at 6.2% ABV.

Also being released on Tuesday is Gray Scale Coffee Vienna Lager, the beer that Baerlic collaborated with Modern Times Beer and The BeerMongers on for The BeerMongers 10th anniversary.

Gray Scale Coffee Vienna Lager is brewed with 100% Weyermann malt and German Tettnang hops and lagered for weeks for supreme drinkablilty in mind. After lagering the beer, Baerlic conditioned the beer on whole bean Black House Coffee from Modern Times Beer. The result is said to be really soft and delicate notes of berries, caramel and cocoa for a lager that sits at 5.3% ABV.
